Overview
Description: During this project, you will investigate light. You will demonstrate refraction, recreate Newton’s famous prism experiment, identify properties of waves, and construct a Newton Disc. This project includes four lessons: Rainbows & Refraction, Sir Isaac Newton, Properties of Waves, and Make a Newton Disc. This project takes approximately two hours to complete.
Standards: This project aligns to Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts and Next Generation Science Standards for sixth grade through eighth grade and Florida CPALMS Standards for seventh grade.
