The Visible Light Spectrum
Description: During this project, you will investigate light. You will demonstrate refraction, recreate Newton’s famous prism experiment, identify properties of waves, and construct a Newton Disc. This project includes four lessons: Rainbows & Refraction, Sir Isaac Newton, Properties of Waves, and Make a Newton Disc. This project takes approximately two hours to complete.
Standards: This project aligns to Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts and Next Generation Science Standards for sixth grade through eighth grade and Florida CPALMS Standards for seventh grade.
21st Century Skills: Critical Thinking, Creativity, Flexibility, Technology Literacy
