Art, ELA, ESL, Social Studies, World Languages
Description: Stop motion is a film technique where a series of slightly different pictures are put together to make objects appear as if they are moving. During this project, students will write a fictional story and create a stop motion film based on their story. They will use computer-aided design and 3D printing to make a character to use in their film.
Distance Learning: This project includes an in-person learning and a distance learning option. The in-person learning option requires a 3D printer to complete.
Standards: This project aligns to Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts, Next Generation Science Standards, International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, and Florida CPALMS Standards for third grade through fifth grade.
