Lower Elementary School
Description: Does your school or home produce recyclable waste like cardboard, paper, or tin cans? During this project, you will learn about recyclable material, turn recyclable waste into a work of art, write a story about your art, and display your art in a recycled art museum.
Distance Learning: This project includes an in-person learning and a distance learning option. The in-person learning option requires a laser cutter/engraver to complete. The distance learning option can be completed with craft supplies and household items.
Standards: This project aligns to Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts, International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, and Florida CPALMS Standards for kindergarten through second grade.
