Overview
Description: During this project, you will discuss the recycling process, identify recyclable materials at your school or home, and examine pieces of art made from recyclable materials. You will create a piece of art using recyclable materials and display your art in a recycled art museum. This project includes three lessons: Recycling & Art, Create a Work of (Recycled) Art, and Recycled Art Museum. This project takes approximately two hours to complete.
Standards: This project aligns to Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts, Texas Essential Knowledge & Skills for Art, and Florida CPALMS Standards for Visual Art for kindergarten through second grade, and Next Generation Science Standards for kindergarten.
