Overview
Description: During this project, you will learn about 3D printing technology and how it is used in the fashion industry. You will brainstorm an idea for a fashion accessory and use computer-aided design and 3D printing to bring it to life! Then you will learn about the language of computers and make a “binary bracelet.” This project includes three lessons: 3D Printing in Fashion, The Design Process, and Binary Bracelets. This project was developed with MakerGirl and takes approximately two hours to complete.
Standards: This project aligns to Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts, Common Core State Standards for Mathematics, Next Generation Science Standards, International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, and Florida CPALMS Standards for third grade through fifth grade.
