3D Printer, Laser Cutter/Engraver
Description: This project presents students with an Ernest Hemingway-inspired challenge: write a memoir using only six words and bring it to life using computer-aided design and makerspace equipment.
Distance Learning: This project includes an in-person learning and distance learning option. The in-person learning option may be completed using a 3D printer or a laser cutter/engraver.
Standards: This project aligns to Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts, International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, and Florida CPALMS Standards for sixth grade through twelfth grade.
