Make a Light Switch Plate
Description: This project serves as an introduction to computer-aided design and 3D printer. Students use Tinkercad, Fusion 360, or Onshape to design a personalized 3D printed light switch plate.
Distance Learning: This project includes an in-person learning option and a distance learning option. The in-person learning option requires a 3D printer to complete.
Standards: This project aligns to Common Core State Standards for Mathematics, International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, and Florida CPALMS Standards for ninth grade through twelfth grade.
